Soli Jiyeon Yang started playing violin at the age of 5. She further continued her studies under Bettina Gabriele Schmitt in Vienna, Austria, and she finished her Bachelor's and Master's Program at Ostrava University with Prof. Zdenek Gola and Alena Cechova. After graduating with excellent grades in the Czech Republic, she studied violin at Folkwang Universität der Künste where her teacher was Prof. Pieter Daniel.

While studying at Folkwang Universität, she worked as a Praktikum and guest member at the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen in the 2015 – 2016 season and at the Bochumer Symphoniker in the 2016 – 2017 season. In 2017, she participated in SWR Schwetzinger Festspiele and SWR Radio Music Festival as a member of Villa Musica in Germany and Europe Music Festival as a soloist in Romania.

She received some prizes in the competition sponsored by Jeju National University and Jeju Korean Broadcasting System and she got 1st prize in the International Interpretation Competition Zdenka Burriana School 2019.

Since 2007 she has been performing as a soloist at international concerts. Soli Jiyeon Yang played with the Ukraine National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Bulgaria Pazardzhik Symphony Orchestra, Romania Banatul Philharmonic Orchestra, Dinu Lipatti Philharmonic, Craiova Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra, Spain CMS virtuoso Ensemble and Trio Sarasate de Vienna in Europe, and Gyeonggi Teacher Philharmonic Orchestra at Seongnam Arts Center, Korea.

Currently, Soli Jiyeon Yang is teaching talented children and cultivating younger students, and is actively playing as a guest member of orchestras such as the Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra, TIMF Festival Orchestra, TIMF Ensemble, Gangneung Philharmonic Orchestra, Cheonan City Orchestra and Ditto Orchestra.
