CMS 비엔나는 2000년 설립 이후 음악기획, 음악프로듀싱, 창작 및 에이전시 의 다양한 역할로 사업에 임해왔다.
오스트리아 비엔나에 주둔하고 있는 CMS 비엔나는 그간 한국의 음악가들을유럽 등지에 소개하고 또 유럽의 음악가들을 한국에 소개. 교류하는 민간기업 차원으로서의 문화적 외교 역할을 해왔다.
클래식을 기반으로 하는 음악 에이전시는 넓고 다양한 공연 기획- 오페라, 발렛, 전통음악, 앙상블 등 –을 해왔으며, 상황과 때에 맞춰 각국의 전통과 클 래식의 전통을 아우르는 유연한 기획으로 유럽의 관객들에게 어필하고 있다.
유럽에 있는 유명 극장부터 잘 알려지 않은 극장들까지 섭렵하며 일을 진행 하며, 또 실력있는 앙상블과 오케스트라를 섭외하며 공연을 기획해 오고 있다.
이외에 국제 마스터 클래스와 국제 세미나, 뿐만 아니라 학생들을 위한 음악 캠프 등의 기획 등 여러 사업들을 기획. 담당하며 그 역할을 수행하기도 하였 다. 주요 활동지역은 현재 오스트리아, 루마니아, 스페인, 한국 등이다.
